Saitek A200

The little speaker system
with a BIG punch.

Do you ever have those moments when you think, "I gotta bring the noise/bring the funk, but I'm taking the bus to the party!" Have no fear—the A200 is here! Released by Saitek on September 28, 2005, the A200 Portable 2.1 Speaker System is all the party you'll ever need! Measuring 2.5" tall x 5.5" deep x 9" wide, the A200 is small enough to fit in your jacket, yet big enough to get the party started.
The A200 draws its power from four AAA batteries, or via an optional 6A/2V power cable. The unit is a true 2.1 speaker system, with a bass punch built right in. It uses a technology called the Expanded Air Volume System (EAVS for short) to gain a deeper bass level then other sprakers its size. To activate EAVS, all you need to do is press the center teardrop shape, and the bass unit rises to the occasion! The speaker increases its internal volume, making a larger cavity for stronger bass.
There's a single 3.5mm jack on the back of the unit for connecting to your favorite device, and it ships with a male-male 3.5mm audio cable for easy hookup. It's constructed with a soft, smooth plastic with no sharp corners, so you can even put it in your cargo pants with no fear of a speaker spike. But the best part of the A200 is the sound—you can really crank this little man LOUD without any major distortion! The A200 proves that big things DO come in small packages!
Because technology doesn't stand still
