The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí

"At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since."-Salvador Dali

In 1942, Dali penned an autobiography entitled The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí. He presented his early life and family history, and his early work up through the 1930s until World War II from his own twisted point of view. Equally absurd and shocking, it was very well received by the mainstream press and critics alike.

Through his own view of the world around him, he paints just as vivdly as he does with a brush, using poetic lisence and clashing adjectives to describe the wonders of life that he encountered.
