Great movies last forever.
These movies were lost forever.

These films are not Hollywood's greatest achievements. They did not have stellar box office success, nor are they remembered or even distributed very well. You will not see these films on your Netflix queue, nor will you stumble upon them on cable, lounging around on the weekend.

You will not find movies listed here like Avatar, Titanic, or Star Wars, but what you find may surprise and delight you. There are rare gems, unpolished stones, and buried treasures that have been lost or forgotten for decades.

Some of these movies lack polish, some have scattered storylines. The acting may be terrible, and the jokes might be a bit dated. The reason why these movies are here all share a common vision—they all represent the best of Hollywood's heart and soul. They are fun, adventurous, and at times, a bit magical. When I say that Hollywood doesn't make movies like this anymore, I mean it. These movies were made by talented people who wanted to achieve something great. And I my opinion, they succeeded.

Once you start reading about these films, you may be surprised at the amount of talent that is present. Entries from California's elite dot the landscape of filmography on this site. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas are both present, but not for what they are popularly known for. And some actors that you may recognize from other films got their start in some of these not-so-blockbusters. So grab your popcorn, open up IMDB in another tab, and start reading!
